Alaskan's have adapted to the bone jarring weather, the brutal and harsh environment, and the hard labor that hard works have to do to feed their families by, things like fishing or working overseas and even working up in the North Slope.
Alaskan's have adapted to the large amount of species in Alaska so they took advantage of this by giving Alaskan's jobs to go fishing on these huge fishing ships and they make really good money. Small villages have hunters who hunt for the village and give their meat to village to keep them healthy so, hunters depend on the animals there for food and clothes.
Anchorage is Alaska's biggest city and most modern city in the state. the thousands of the people that live here live in regular houses (no igloos) and have regular jobs. Sports are a huge thing in Alaska mostly, because there's not very much to do that is not physical. With the new age of technology we are building more buildings and more businesses opening and so far I have seen new places under construction.
We have modified the land in anchorage a lot with all the buildings and companies. We have highway systems traveling throughout central Alaska. Juneau was just an island with nothing on it now there's ports and one airport for people to make a living and to get food to the locals. There is more land than the government knows what to do with.
